The New Zealand stock markets was up on Monday. By 1.40pm, the NZX 50 index had risen 3 points to 3455 on turnover of $74 million.
Across the Tasman, the ASX200 was up 38 points to 4900.
The New Zealand dollar was trading at 76.83 US cents, 74.02 Australian cents, 47.70 pence, 64.72 yen and 0.5405 euro. The Trade Weighted Index was 67.33.
Fletcher Building was down 9 cents at $9.25, Telecom was up 0.5c to $2.05 and Contact Energy was down 1c at $5.82.
Sky City Entertainment was up 4c at $3.46 and Sky Network TV was up 1c at $5.67. The Warehouse was up 3c at $3.54.
Mainfreight was unchanged at $8.95 after completing the purchase of Netherlands-based transport firm, Wim Bosman.
Nuplex was down 7c to $2.98.
