Canterbury was the only region in New Zealand that continued to list more job ads in May.
The Seek New Job Ad Index shows listings rose by 1.5% in Canterbury, in contrast to the rest of New Zealand where the number of new jobs advertised, dipped for the first time this year.
Structural engineers were one of the categories most in demand in Canterbury.
