Facebook is hooking up with Skype. The site will integrate Skype video chat into its social networking service.
The agreement deepens its cooperation with Microsoft, which is in the process of acquiring Skype for $US8.5 billion.
Facebook founder and chief executive Mark Zuckerberg says partnerships like this are the way to go.
He says Facebook now has 750 million users. Skype currently has about 145 million regular users.
Last week Google introduced a social networking service dubbed GooglePlus.
