NZ share market slips

The New Zealand share market edged down during Monday morning trading, with the NZX50 index 4 points (0.1%) lower at 3264 on turnover of $39 million.

At 1pm, Fletcher Building was down 9 cents to $7.70, Telecom was unchanged at $2.72 while Contact Energy was up 9 cents at $5.11.

Sky City Entertainment was unchanged at $3.48, Auckland International Airport was down 0.5 cents to $2.185 and Fisher & Paykel Healthcare slipped 1 cent to $2.37.

The Warehouse was unchanged at $3.40, Hallenstein Glassson slipped 8 cents to $3.42 and Goodman Fielder was down 9 cents to 94 cents.

Nuplex surged 24 cents to $2.61, Cavalier Carpets was down 5 cents to $3.50 and Hellaby Holdings Holdings rose 10 cents to $2.50.

The NZ dollar was trading at US81.92 cents, 78.71 Australian, 49.68 pence, 62.76 yen and 0.5696 euro. The TWI stood at 70.40.
