Sky City Entertainment Group says it will not commit to building a casino in Adelaide until it has reached an agreement with the Australian government about the rules governing the casino.
The casino operator has suggested changes to regulation governing its proposed Adelaide Casino.
But the Australian government has made it clear that it will deal with the regulation as a separate matter to Sky City's proposed investment in the casino.
Sky City's chief executive Nigel Morrison says the company is entirely comfortable with that and it respects that view.
