Powerco has lifted its full-year profit by a third.
The electricity and gas distributor made $27 million in the year to the end of June, compared with $20 million a year earlier.
Revenue rose almost 2% to $363 million.
Chairman Rick Bettle says it's a good result in light of the recent economic downturn.
