Wind turbine maker seeks to raise funds

Windflow Technology is seeking to raise an unspecified amount of money from shareholders to help keep the business going.

The Christchurch-based company says the money will be use to conduct a formal licensing sale process for its intellectual property assets, maintain its presence in Britain and provide support services to New Zealand Windfarms, which has 97 of its turbines.

The company says its cash reserves have been depleted. It has cut jobs and sold spare parts to counter a lack of orders.
