Vodafone has been found guilty of breaching the Fair Trading Act in an online promotion for mobile internet services.

In Auckland District Court on Tuesday, Judge Kiernan said she was satisfied the company misled customers about pricing in a promotion that ran between July and November in 2008.

The Judge said she would release details of her findings later in the day.

Sentencing will take place in November.
