PGG Wrightson pledges to do better

8:33 pm on 2 November 2011

PGG Wrightson Ltd chairman Sir John Anderson says the company is totally focussed on getting the business back to an even keel.

The listed rural services firm lost almost $31 million in the year to June compared to a profit of $23 million in the previous year.

Sir John told shareholders at the annual meeting in Hastings that he is confident the situation by June next year will be a lot different.

"We are just looking to be a well-oiled machine basically. Get things right. Do them properly," he said.
