New car registrations in New Zealand fell in October for a second consecutive month.
They were down 4.5% on the previous month, to be 7.5% lower than a year earlier.
New Zealand Transport Agency figures show used car registrations - generally imported used cars - were 1.6% lower in September, and 9.9% below a year ago.
New commercial vehicle registrations fell 16% in the month, but are 24.5% higher than the same month a year ago.
The top selling make in October was Toyota, followed by Hyundai, and Holden.
