OneSteel says closure of its Whyalla plant in South Australia is among a range of options under consideration.
The ABC reports the the company's steel manufacturing division is being reviewed after it recorded a $A185 million loss last financial year.
OneSteel says the financial situation is unsustainable and it is looking at a range of options to turn that around.
