Cavalier to relocate WSI wool scours

Cavalier Wool has reiterated it intends to sell the trading arm of Wool Services International and relocate its wool scours, if it's successful in acquiring them.

The High Court last week dismissed an appeal by Godfrey Hirst against a Commerce Commission decision that allows Cavalier to buy the scouring operations of its only domestic rival.

Cavalier says once the businesses merge, it will need to relocate Wool Services' wool scours to its own in Canterbury and Hawke's Bay.
