A $A1 billion domestic gas plant has been officially opened in the Pilbara region of Western Australia.
Apache Energy's Devil Creek Gas Plant and Hub is 45km south-west of Dampier.
The ABC reports the project is the third domestic gas plant in WA. It will have the capacity to increase gas production in the state by 20%.
