An increase in international passengers has helped to boost Auckland Airport's half-year profit.
The listed company made $69 million in the six months to December, a rise of 5.5% on the same period in 2010.
Underlying profit, which excludes out tax and other one-off costs, rose 15% to $71 million.
Revenue rose 9% to $216 million, while international passenger numbers grew 6.5%.
Auckland Airport chief financial officer Simon Robertson says tourists who came to New Zealand for the Rugby World Cup added about $2 million to the bottom-line.
Mr Robertson says the airport will pay a dividend of 4.4 cents a share, up 10% on last year.
