Christchurch residents have an opportunity this weekend to give feedback on the city council's annual draft plan.

The council is holding three community open days from Saturday to Monday at the Dome in Hagley Park, so residents can find out more about the plan.

The plan includes a 7.4% rates rise and options for the rebuilding of 10 key facilities in the city.

Mayor Bob Parker, chief executive Tony Marryatt, and senior council staff will present the plan and answer residents' questions.

Last weekend, all households in the region were sent booklets on the plan, which is open for community consultation until 21 May.
