The Government is employing four people in Christchurch to help employers involved in the earthquake-hit city's rebuild to hire staff.
The Canterbury Skills and Employment Hub will match up the unemployed with vacant jobs and where necessary help them to enrol in pre-employment courses to increase their skills.
Help will also be offered to those wanting to employ foreign workers, along with a website where job vacancies can be listed.
