Canterbury District Health Board says it is largely back to business for health services following a big earthquake in the region.
The DHB on Friday issued an update on health services following the 7.1 magnitude quake on 4 September and numerous aftershocks.
The executive director of nursing for the DHB, Mary Gordon, says general practices, pharmacies and district nursing services are back to normal activities in the community.
Ms Gordon says hospitals are also at usual operating levels for elective, or non-urgent surgery, and medical procedures.
People living in Kaiapoi, Pine's Beach and Kairaki are being advised to boil water for three minutes before drinking, brushing their teeth or using it in cooking.
The Waimakariri District Council also says until further notice, all well water should also be boiled before being used.
