Several sizeable tremors have been among the latest aftershocks to rattle Canterbury.
Of the half-dozen aftershocks during the 12-hour period from about 7.20pm on Saturday, the strongest were 4.0 and 4.1 - both around 8pm, centred close to Christchurch.
Another, at the same location a few minutes earlier, was 3.8 magnitude.
