Rocky Horror creator donates items to quake appeal

The creator of the Rocky Horror Show has donated his guitar and coat-tails to the earthquake-affected people of Canterbury.

Richard O'Brien wrote the cult musical and is finishing a tour of the show in Christchurch on Monday in the role of the narrator.

Mr O'Brien donated his custom-made Gaultier coat tails and Fender guitar to the Red Cross Earthquake Appeal.

The items are to be auctioned on TradeMe on Wednesday.
