Search teams return to cathedral

Search and rescue teams have returned to the Christchurch cathedral, after an aftershock stopped recovery efforts there on Friday night.

Officials say a British team has been working at the Pyne Gould building during the day, using cranes to pull apart the concrete layer by layer.

It says pieces of the building are being slowly removed, with teams then searching through the cavities underneath.

Teams from Japan are continuing to work at the Canterbury Television building with the police disaster identification team.
