Access points through the cordon into Christchurch's central business district have been revised.
The central city remains cordoned off between the four main avenues but can be entered at specific places by emergency services and some contractors and residents.
Police say emergency services and residents authorised to access their homes within the cordon should use an access point on the corner of Moorhouse Ave and Montreal St.
Emergency staff can also park their vehicles at North Hagley Park, walk through the park and then go through at the corner of Rolleston Ave and Gloucester St.
Authorised contractors to the south of the city can access at the corner of Moorhouse Ave and Durham St.
Residents to the north of the city who are authorised to access their homes can do so where Bealey Ave meets Barbadoes St.
And residents to the east of the city who are authorised to access their homes can do so via the corner of Fitzgerald Ave and Armagh St.
To enter, all staff and contractors must have photo ID, and all residents must have ID and verification of their address.
