A 30-tonne rock that crashed into a Heathcote house is raising money for the earthquake relief fund.
The house's owner, Phil Johnson, is selling the boulder, dubbed Rocky, on online auction website Trade Me, describing it as a landscape feature that enhances indoor/outdoor flow.
The boulder, shaken loose by last Tuesday's quake, crashed through the roof of the garage and into the hall.
Mr Johnson says bids on the auction have reached more than $800 and it will all go to the earthquake relief fund.
The winning bidder has been promised a personalised photo with Rocky as soon as the cordon is lifted.
