Police have released the names of three more quake victims.
They are:
Betty Irene Dickson, 82, of Christchurch
Joanna Clare Didham, 35, of Christchurch, and
Yoshiko Hirauchi, 61, of Japan.
The release of these names brings to 44 the number of people formally identified by police.
The official death toll of 166 has not changed since Sunday.
