A memorial service has been held in the Christ Church Cathedral in Dublin to remember the loss of life in the earthquakes in Christchurch and Japan.
About 400 people attended the service on Sunday, including the families and friends of Owen McKenna and John Joe O'Connor who died in the 22 February Christchurch earthquake.
New Zealand Ireland Association spokesperson Chris Kinder says ambassadors from Japan, United States, Canada, China and Australia also attended the service.
New Zealand ambassador Derek Leask travelled from London and read a letter from Prime Minister John Key.
Mr Kinder says about half those who attended the service were New Zealanders living in Ireland.
He says the New Zealand Ireland Association has also been raising money to send to the Red Cross, including at the Ireland versus England rugby game during the weekend.
