Quake recovery organisation recruiting

Canterbury Earthquake Recovery Authority is looking for personnel - and wants most of them to sign on for five years.

The agency is advertising for a number of managers reporting directly to new chief executive, Roger Sutton, who starts officially on 13 June.

The advertised positions include an economic recovery manager, a community wellbeing manager, a demolition manager and an infrastructure manager.

Interim chief executive John Ombler says the agency has been operating so far with staff seconded or on short term contracts.

He says the authority is now moving to secure people on a long-term basis.
