Two days to register for quake Royal Commission

People wanting to be involved in the Royal Commission of Inquiry into buildings that failed during the Canterbury earthquakes have until Friday to register.

The commission's chair, Justice Mark Cooper, says people who have expressed their interest to date include some who were trapped in buildings, business owners, and academics.

Justice Cooper says people need to let the commission know how they would like be involved and detailed information will be sought later.

He says information from the public could help the inquiry, which began in May, and he's urging people come forward.
