Frustrated residents hold another rally

About 60 orange zone residents have been rallying in Christchurch on Sunday, frustrated at the time it is taking to get a decision on what will happen to their homes.

About 9000 properties in the city are in the orange zone and the Government has not given any firm timeline of when each suburb will be re-classified as being either red or green.

The organiser of Sunday's rally, Spencerville resident, Darla Hutt, says people are sick of waiting for answers.

She says people can't plan for the future, and are living in limbo while they wait to find out whether or or not they will have to abandon their homes.
