The Earthquake Commission has received 10, 012 claims over the 23 December and 2 January Christchurch earthquakes.
The deadline for claims arising from the earthquakes on 23 December is 23 March.
A spokesperson says the final number of claims lodged for the 5.5-magnitude quake on 9 October was 5522.
The deadline for claims for damage from that earthquake passed on Monday.
