Another building in Christchurch has been cordoned off because of concerns about its structural integrity.

The Carlton Court building on the corner of Papanui Road and Bealey Avenue was closed on Monday night to allow for detailed engineering assessments.

The owners of four businesses in the building have been given restricted access.

Last week, a building housing five businesses on Riccarton Road was shut down after engineers deemed it unsafe because of earthquake damage.
