The New Zealand women's lawn bowls pair of Jan Kahn and Manu Timoti have suffered their first loss at the Commonwealth Games.
The previously unbeaten duo lost 7-9, 8-7, 3-2 in a tie-break to Canada at the Jawawarahal Sports Complex on Wednesday in their only match of the day.
The pair had already beaten Botswana, Namibia, South Africa and Norfolk Island and face Zambia on Thursday before playing the Cook Islands later in the day.
Meanwhile, the men's lawn bowls triples got their games back on track after a tie-break loss to South Africa on Tuesday.
Skip Richard Girvan's trio made short work of Brunei 10-3, 10-3 and will also play Niue on Wednesday.
