Archery teams beaten

The New Zealand men's and women's archery teams were been eliminated at the quarterfinal stage of their compound competition at the Commonwealth Games.

The men's team were beaten on the last arrow by India, going down by 1 point.

The women were well beaten by England.

The only New Zealand archer remaining in competition is Shaun Teesdale who will meet a Namibian opponent in the quarterfinals of the compound individual event on Saturday.
