New Zealand lead 12-0 at half-time, after two tries from captain DJ Forbes. Tomasi Cama scored after the break, before England scored a runaway try to make it 19-7.
But New Zealand refused to ease up, and Lote Raikabula and Cama both crossed the line to put the win beyond doubt.
Gordon Tietjen's team are hoping to win their fourth successive Games gold medal, and made the semis after a 31-10 win against Wales.
New Zealand now Australia in the final after they defeated favoured South Africa 17-7 in the other semi-final.
In the quarter-finals, England surprisingly knocked out in-form Samoa; South Africa overcame Scotland and Australia beat Kenya.
On Tuesday, the Silver Ferns play Jamaica for a place in the netball final and a much-anticipated match against Australia, who beat England 51-45 in the earlier semi.
In hockey, the New Zealand men's team lost their semi-final 6-2 to Australia.
They'll play for the bronze on Thursday, against the loser of the other semi between England and India.
The Black Sticks women play Australia for gold on Wednesday.
Also on Tuesday, Stuart Farquhar is in the final of the javelin, while Nick Willis and Adrian Blincoe lineup in the 1500-metre final with some good Kenyans, two Englishmen and a fast Australian to beat.
