Mana Party leader Hone Harawira holds the lead in the Te Tai Tokerau electorate, an opinion poll released on Monday suggests.

Hone Harawira retained the Tai Tokerau seat at a by-election in June with a much reduced majority from the 2008 general election when he stood for the Maori Party.
The Te Karere Digipoll has Mr Harawira on 42% support for the electorate vote, with Labour's Kelvin Davis on 35% and Maori Party candidate Waihoroi Shortland on 20%.
The party vote is evenly spread between the three parties. Labour and the Maori Party are on 27% support and Mana on 25%.
At the last election, Labour won almost 3000 more party votes than the Maori Party.
The poll surveyed 400 Maori roll voters and has a margin of error of plus or minus 4.9%.
