Cafe meeting good for ACT Party vote - Brash

ACT Party leader Don Brash says John Key's effective endorsement of John Banks in Epsom will make it easier for ACT to attract party votes.

The National Party leader met Mr Banks at a cafe in Newmarket on Friday for a photo opportunity widely regarded as an encouragement to National voters to support Mr Banks in Epsom.

Dr Brash says he is delighted Mr Key has effectively indicated he wants ACT back in Parliament and voters can now feel more confident about giving their party vote to ACT.

Dr Brash welcomed the meeting, but believes Mr Banks already has a strong chance of winning Epsom.
