Mr Goff signed the pledge outside a Kiwibank branch in South Auckland on Wednesday and called on National Party leader John Key to do the same.

He said the selling of state assets is the key issue in this election.

Mr Goff said John Key has not made his position clear on whether a National-led Government would sell off Kiwibank.

Mr Key says he won't sign the pledge but that he has publicly committed that a National government under his leadership will not sell Kiwibank.
