The Conservative Party is challenging the amount of broadcasting time and public money allocated to it through the Electoral Commission in the upcoming election.

The party has been given $60,207 and 90 seconds for its opening and closing addresses but argues that, given its polling in the last election, it should get more.
Leader Colin Craig said the party deserved a higher priority.
"I think there's two things to look at there. One is how well we've done as a party, and then you start ... comparing that with other parties that have been given a greater priority than us," he said.
"We had more support in the last election than half the parties in Parliament."
A decision by the Electoral Commission is expected this week.
