Councillor elected to three local boards

Updated at 6:49 am on 10 October 2010

One man has been elected to three community boards in Auckland.

Warren Flaunty will represent the electorates of Henderson-Massey, Upper Harbour and the Kumeu subdivision of Rodney.

He has also been elected to the Waitakere Licensing Trust and is waiting to find out whether he will serve on the district health board.

Mr Flaunty says he would not have stood if he did not think he could manage all the roles, and busy people get things done.

He says he represents the areas where he was already a councillor and is now also on the local board for where he lives.
