Super-city election fraud accused numbers rise

Updated at 8:35 pm on 15 October 2010

Two more people have been charged with forging super city election papers in South Auckland.

Community board candidate Daljit Singh was charged last week and the latest arrests bring the total number of people charged to five.

Police say three people are due to appear in Manukau District Court on Friday, with the other two appearing again in the next few weeks.

Mr Singh was unsuccessful in his bid to represent the Papatoetoe-Otara board in the election.
