The New Zealand 49er crew of Peter Burling and Blair Tuke are in second place overall after the latest day of racing at the Olympic Sailing regatta at Weymouth.

The pair scored a win and a seventh on Tuesday.

Burling says they are pretty happy and still have a few things we want to iron out for later in the regatta.

JP Tobin opened his first Olympic regatta with a 15th and a fourth in the boardsailing and he's 9th overall.

Of the other crews: the women's matchracers are sixth, Dan Slater is seventh in the Finn, Hamish Pepper and Jim Turner are eighth in the Star, Andrew Murdoch is 13th in the Laser and Sara Winther 23rd in the Laser Radial.
