New Zealand shooter Ryan Taylor has not managed to qualify for the final of the men's 50m rifle prone event at the London Olympics.
Taylor finished the qualifying round in the middle of the field - sitting in 25th place out of 50 shooters.
Only the top eight shooters in the event go through to the final.
The top qualifier was Sergei Martynov from Belarus, followed by Belgium's Lionel Cox.
Martynov went on to win the gold medal.
Taylor was New Zealand's only representative in London after a decision to allocate the country's only quota spot to Natalie Rooney was reversed because Taylor had posted the most internationally competitive scores during 2011.
