Men's hockey team draw with Germany

The New Zealand men's hockey team has drawn 5-all with Germany in their last pool match at the London Oympics.

The Black Sticks led 4-2 at half-time, while the second ranked Germans grabbed the equaliser right on full time.

Simon Child scored twice, with the other goals going to Nick Wilson, Richard Petherick and Stephen Jenness.

Germany had already qualified for the semi-finals, where they will play Australia, while the Netherlands will play Great Britain.

New Zealand will now play off against Argentina in their first qualification match for ninth to 12th.
