New Zealand is 15th on the medal table at the Olympic Games in London. The tally is 13 - five golds, three silver and five bronze.
It is the best performance by New Zealand since the 1988 Seoul Games.
Five medals came from rowing - three gold and two bronze.
Sailing produced another two - one gold and one silver.
Track cycling also produced two medals - both bronze.
Athletics, BMX cycling, the canoe sprint and equestrian each produced a bronze.
The United States leads the list with 102 medals: 44 gold, 29 silver and 29 bronze.
China is second with 87: 38 gold, 27 silver and 22 bronze.
Team GB is third with 62 medals: 28 gold, 15 silver and 19 bronze.
Australia is 10th with 35 medals, seven gold, 16 silver and 12 bronze.
