A motorcyclist has been killed in a crash on Auckland's northern motorway.
Emergency services were called to the crash, on a southbound lane near Oteha Valley Road north of Albany, at just after 6.30am on Thursday.
A police spokesperson says the rider of a Harley Davidson motorbike lost control in bad weather. The rider died at the scene.
Two southbound lanes are likely to remain blocked for the next two hours and motorists can expect significant delays.
