Hastily-convened talks over Auckland's port dispute have postponed the release of a report on Auckland Council's compliance with the Treaty of Waitangi.
Mayor Len Brown has pulled out of a planned meeting before the release of an audit to focus on talks with Ports of Auckland and the Maritime Union.
The Independent Maori Statutory Board has completed an audit of how well the council has met its obligations under the Treaty of Waitangi.
It is not yet known when the report will now be released.
