Labour Party threat accused appears in court

A man accused of threatening to kill employees of both the current and previous Labour Party leaders has appeared in Auckland District Court and has been remanded in custody.

Dean Miller, 45, was arrested Tuesday.

He is accused of threatening to kill staff at Phil Goff and David Shearer's electorate offices in Auckland Tuesday.

The man also faces two charges from earlier in March when he allegedly threatened to kill people in Parliament and a police employee.

Mr Miller is remanded in custody until Friday 23 March when he will appear in court to apply for bail.
