Three men stabbed in Huntly

Police in Huntly say three men suffered stab wounds after an incident in the town early on Sunday.

They say they were called to the incident in Harris St at about 1am where three men in their late teens, early twenties and forties were found with stab wounds.

All three were taken to Waikato Hospital with serious but not life threatening injuries.

Police say a 44-year-man will appear in the Hamilton District Court on Monday on three charges of wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.
