Three men have been seriously injured after their van left the road and crashed down a bank in northern Hawke's Bay on Sunday night.
Two of the men were taken by helicopter to Hawke's Bay Hospital with multiple injuries.
One is in a serious condition in the intensive care unit, while the other is in a stable condition on Monday.
Another helicopter took the third man to Gisborne Hospital with serious injuries.
The accident happened just after 11pm on State Highway 2 in the remote area of Morere.
