Two more search warrants have been executed in South Auckland in relation to the killing of a boy.
John Hapeta, 14, was beaten to death at night outside his home in Weymouth during a birthday party on 12 August.
Two men are sought. One had a hammer and the other had a handgun.
Two houses were searched on Friday and several items were taken away for forensic examination. No arrests were made.
Police are still appealing for people to come forward with information. A police bus will again be stationed in the Clendon area over the weekend.
