A man has been arrested and charged with assault following an incident at a skate park in Auckland.
A man has been arrested and charged with assault following an incident at a skate park in Auckland.
Craig Platt, 48, allegedly shoved a teenager and man during a competition at the park on Sunday 25 March.
Police met with the teenager Wednesday and charged Mr Platt with assaulting the youth Thursday.
Mr Platt told Radio New Zealand that he is on bail until he appears in court next week.
Auckland Council is also investigating the event, after spraypaint was used to vandalise the park during the event.
