The Townsville Crocodiles have beaten the New Zealand Breakers 99 to 82 in the first of their best-of-three NBL semi-final matches in Auckland.
The Breakers are attempting to win back-to-back titles.
Once again the top qualifiers, the Breakers were favourites to see off the Crocodiles but they could not match them on the night.
